We Are Moving

We have some exciting news to share with you all about some important changes happening at Lots Road Auctions.

We have ambitious plans and it will come as no surprise to know that we are always running at maximum capacity in our current building. The lack of space has been hindering our growth and after considering our options, we are delighted to announce that we are moving to the iconic Piper Building later this month.

About The Piper Building
A Mid-Century architectural icon with a history steeped in design and culture, the Piper Building feels like the perfect place to call home. Situated in Fulham near the Wandsworth Bridge, it is less than 1.5 miles away from our existing location and great for accessibility.

With 29,500sq ft over one floor, we will be one of the largest single space auction houses in the country, allowing us to take on more fantastic items and run more sales, with a vastly elevated buyer and vendor experience.

We remain committed to returning to Lots Road in the future and having a presence within the new Mount Anvil development when completed.

Timescales and Next Steps
The fit-out is well underway and we expect to be fully operational by Easter. The entire team are working hard to ensure there is minimal disruption for our customers.

We'll keep you updated on our progress but for now, here are some keys dates to note:

• Saturday 16th March - Please join us for farewell drinks at our final Saturday viewing at Lots Road 12-5pm
• Sunday 17th March - Our final Interiors Auction at Lots Road, Chelsea
• From Monday 18th March - All deliveries to our new address at the Piper Building
• Thursday 28th March - Final day to collect items from Lots Road
• Friday 29th March onwards - Open for viewings every day at the Piper Building
• Sunday 7th April - Our first sale at the Piper Building

We hope to complete the move as smoothly as possible. If you have any queries, please do let us know and we will do our best to answer them for you.

Our new address will be Unit 9 Piper Centre, 50 Carnwath Road, London, SW6 3JX.

Farewell to Roger Ross

On the 29th November 2023, we bid farewell to Roger Ross, who stepped down to retire. The entire team came together to celebrate Roger’s monumental achievements since launching Lots Road Auctions in 1979. We want to extend Roger our heartfelt thanks and wish him all the very best.

Nick Carter was handed the mantle of Managing Director, who runs the business alongside Olivia Hatt who joined as People, Operations & Finance Director last year.

Lots Road Auctions becomes an Employee Owned Trust
The management shift coincides with the sale of the company as an Employee Owned Trust. This transition recognises the efforts and long-standing loyalty of the team while also ensuring the values and heart of the business remain largely unchanged.
We can’t wait to start this new chapter with you!
