If you listen, you can hear…a more than ever relevant motto in our day and age, when everyone seems disconnected and isolated from others.

This striking artwork offered in our upcoming sale is by Dubliner artist John Nolan, whose career has been spanning for over thirty years, and reached well over the borders of his native Ireland, gaining recognition at the Biennale Internazionale Dell’Arte Contemporanea in Florence in 2003 as the representative for his country.

John’s style is characterised by bold lines and vibrant colours, reminiscent of Patrick Caulfield’s – to whom in fact he offers a tribute with the works in his series “Paying Hommage”.
