NAPOLEON BONAPARTE, a single hair removed post mortem, also the silk hatband of the Prince de Joinville and original bill of health for the ship 'La Belle Poule'. Provenance: Captain James Bennet, 2nd in command the St. Helena Regiment at the exhumation and return to France of Napoleons body in 1840. The ship was 'La Belle Poule' the bill of health is the original given on arrival at St. Helena to Dr Solomon, the port doctor; Dr Solomon was married to Capt Bennets sister, purchased 30 Sept 1992 by the Baron Burca at Bonhams Knightbridge, framed.
